Just a quick tileing wall, floor and trim texture. Took a break from my bigger project to mess around with NDO2 some more. Just AO, Spec and Normal at the moment.
Wester, the angle makes it alittle hard to be sure but from your ref it looks like the elevated building should be a tiny bit higher up, or at least have the blue-ish trim be a little more narrow
Going to be teaching a workshop at my old college in about a months time. Going to be going over the use of trim textures and modularity to create environments. Just creating the tiling textures I will be using to make the envio.
Kyle, that's stunning! I love the tones on the stone blocks. It's a little hard to tell what material of the trim around the door is though. If it's wood I'd say it needs a slight hue change to take it away from the brass knobs :)
Final image of what I created for the workshop I taught at AI over the weekend. Kept it simple to help teach the students the fundamentals of environment creation using trim and tiling textures. Didnt want to get the lost and bogged down the adding a bunch of frills to the scene.
