Here is a quick paintover. The top of the skull needs more mass. The skull is very planar, so I would try to get some planes defined and that should help out a lot.
Renaud : another top notch character. He needs a top hat and a hare companion :D I finally got round to checking out your portfolio and I was blown away. Great stuff. Vitor : getting there, but the skull is quite a bit too deep in the profile shots. Generally, head height is equal to skull depth, but yours has a good 2 or…
Kite / ImSlightlyBored: Awesome work  Sure do, Yoko from Gurren Lagan. Liking the way the hair falls in the front, but make sure not to forget the little skull ornament.
cool texturing aimbiz. I think some more colour where the horns stick into the skull would help. Also maybe something to break up the surface of the tights. Dirt, rips, holes or something?
@vitor's head mesh : I like the receding chin etc. but the basic proportions of the skull are off, as is the ear position. Japhir pretty much nailed it with his paintover IMO. The stereotypical heroic jawline isn't a necessity though.
eld - Freaky, I like the design. Massbot - Nice skull! Old man is coming along nicely as well. Jackwhat - Nice start on that concept. You got some interesting lighting going on. In the midle of texturing and also got him into the game. :)
Jackwhat , he reminds me of Kamina from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Vitor, that is sweet! the only thing that strikes me as odd is the skull in the center, just popping like that. I bet you already know it. Ferg, those look awesome!
Rawkstar that's sweet! Decided to get off my ass and start a personal project, going for a voodoo / shaman / witchdoctor kinda guy. Whilst thinking about exactly what I want to go for, i figured he's going to use a skull somewhere :D Bit rough + there are inacuracies, and the side view etc needs a bit of loving, as do the…
MUCH better- its good to see you thinking about what your volumes are now- push that envelope till it says "EXCUSE YOU!?" see what happens when you use as much reference as humanly possible when you sculpt, paint textures, etc etc- look up some skeletons, and check your rib cage as well as the weight on those legs.…
