I agree with the armor plates needing something more, they're too plain at the moment. Maybe red flames along the bottom to match the gold flames on the skirt?
These giant yellow plates are looking really out of place right now. Maybe you could add some flame motif or just yellow-red gradient on them? Also, the flame pattern on the skirt is too strong compared to the flatness of the armor, maybe you can even it out. Let the "item pack" craze begin!
@Spudnik Yes those textures are final. I have made couple of variations of those flames, including golden, however this color right now seemed to be the best. I like how orange material on dress seems to be semi transparent with darker opaque metal flames on the edge. Saw this illusion and couldn't change them to anything…
Ok this is one thing i don't get about Ember Spirit weapons, considering i've done a couple and other people did others as well...so here it goes: QUESTION OF THE YEAR!: are you supposed to model only the base (so replace the gometric part and then they'll add the flaming blade) or the whole sword? Considering that when…
Just finished my first collab with the talented cottonwings. A sword for DK, which hopefully valve will be kind enough to add some flames to! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=195589495
oDD, really love the coin on Ember =D Finished a pudge set I was working on for a couple of months. Probably won't tag this for the CNY event and risk inciting a Chinese flame war... =\ Workshop Link
The reason im defensive is become the person who was complaining wasnt giving actual feedback, he was just flaming. If these people can give criticism professionaly then I dont mind it. I will think about it, and accept or reject their ideas.
 I like it, only thing I might tweak would be the color map for the back rocket pods. Instead of the flame on that as well maybe have it just the metal color, but have the top shaded with dark grays to go with the look of it being blown out.
