Autopsy - If I remember correctly, the lightmap resolution on BSP surfaces works the opposite way as it does on meshes. Have you tried going lower than 32?
The units are just generic units. UDK uses snapping in power of 2 grids though (32, 64, 128, 256 etc) so you might want to adjust your grid in max to that. iirc the default room height is something like 160?
You guys solved the problem! i uninstalled the driver and it worked. I'm running Vista 32 with no other issues. I also reinstalled the new driver and now ST doesn't initialize so it was the newest driver that came out on Oct 20...time to get it into the pipeline.
What is the best grid size to use? I'm trying to build everything modular on a grid, and most of the videos ive seen say to use a grid size of 32, but that seems to make everything huge from a in-game perspectie. Seems like a grid size of 4 is much more flexible.
lamont i run it on vista 32 no problems at all just installed and ran, its funny the first day i installed it i opened it, added a cube and it crashed.. i was like "oh boy here we go" but i have not had a single crash since then so i guess it was just a fluke. but ya, i have no prob on v32
