I suspect it was a body double made up to look like tupac. The lighting and the intricacy of the way his jeans deform looks a little too natural to be completely cg.
right, but i mean more actually recreating tupac himself more so than the projection technology. After poking around its digital domains work and it sounds like hes entirely cg, but not 100% sure.
