guys, im getting jagged border edges in all of my normals. i tried all kind of AA filters, global SS settings. I know thay i can render double, then down size it, but i wish to know why this is happening. Only those borders are getting jagged, everyelse looks fine.
yes, its a 20 pixel padding. The fact is that only those borders (with and w/o padding) are getting jagged. is that normal? wasn`t suppose to exist at least an little AA in there?
I imagine you're not getting much jagged edges on the actual normal map borders (looks like a smooth circle from here). The padding is probably dilated after the map is all calculated/sampled/etc.
thanks for helping guys, however, i have a question. wasnt suppose to get Anti aliasing on those borders using supersampling/filters?? i really don`t know why i didn`t get them. :poly127:
