How do I mirror animations in maya? Lets say the characters kicks his left foot. I want the animation to be flipped so that his right foot kicks instead.
I used to copy the curves and then invert the necessary ones. It takes a while. I've learned to animate both sides at the same time when I want mirrored animations. (Unless I'm using my personal rigs.)
Doesn't exist natively as far as I'm aware. I made a script myself to mirror a character rig but I never got to mirroring animations, maybe it's something you could use.
