thanks again all!-back in maya- default phong setup, realtime grab-adjusting spec map, some tweaks on the diffuse- the red cloth was a fantastic suggestion guys, tail is back in and I was even able to get it on the same texture.wooooshhh
one thing that still distracts me is how bright the blood is on diffuse. it looks pretty much like red paint. unless it's supposed to be paint in the first place. i can imagine that if it was dark it wouldn't be visible in skull's eye sockets and on cloth but still. i agree that platform would be cool. the pose is pretty…
