I lol@ the "buy more servers with that $1b" remarks also Theres no way to test-run millions of people connecting. Launches will always expose errors in code in either the game itself or its authorization servers. Unless you're COD in which case its the same game every year so they're used to it. -

According to what other people are saying, yes it will be ported to Pc and to some extend next-gen platforms, eventually milk the Ps4 and Pc later on. Like someone else mentioned the Ps4 and Pc codes are done and embedded in the game. But for marketing issues they prefer this form of release for now. Am i correct ? . -

Interesting point about the distinction between sandbox and open world. To be fair I have to admit I am not exactly sure to know what to expect from the game ! I know that I will be tired of following the pre-defined path of the storyline missions after just a couple hours, so it's good to hear that the whole world opens… -

Not sure if GTA5 will come to next-gen consoles or not, but remember that Rockstars engine is probably next-gen ready. So it makes sense that there's some orbis/xbox one stuff in there. But I really hope 5 comes to ps4! -

Katana : That is the minimap set to "blips only" mode. There are 3 options to choose from : Regular, off, and blips. I find blips mode to be the most satisfying option by far : it allows for a great sense of immersion, yet still shows all the relevant information. It also displays the GPS routes - just not the actual city… -
