hey guys, I need to export an animated character made in Maya 2012. This will be used in cinema4D. I tried various export settings, which works fine with game engines. But when I re-import to maya, it doesn't move. Is there a plug-in or something? What should I do?
Are you exporting as .fbx? You may need to select the bake animation option in your export settings. Are you looking to manipulate the animation in C4D aftewards, or just render it there?
