Of course! I am actually very critical on my own stuff, and disliking most of it. BUT! my point of view when something sucks in not so much of a "Damn, this sucks, I need to try harder, and it will take years to get there", but more like "Hmm, this doesn't work, what did I fail to understand ? Which basic art rule do I not… -

Bla bla and bla! I am the only one finding these motivational quotes and posters quite ... sad ? It make it sounds like it's all about "ambitions" and "being good" while suffering in the process ... but nothing about the pleasure of learning, the awe of figuring things out, and so on! -

I'm in this phase right now. I'm frustrated that I know how I want it to look, but I'm unable to get it there. I can't allow myself to do a poor job, that's a carnal sin, even when practicing. So I get frustrated and anxious, then I start avoiding it out of fear of failure. In my upbringing, there was no room for mistakes.… -

I like to tell myself that I'm in the gap (y'know, not quite crap but not quite good), it makes me feel a bit better about getting hardly any replies to my work when other folk still in the earlier stages of their 3d journey thing get plenty of replies without even posting art...anyway enough of my blubbing...keep at… -
