3ds max script/command line question
Hey all In Maya there is a command that will move whatever you currently have selected to the center of the grid, by typing in move -x 0 (for the X axis, otherwise you use -y or -z) What I want to know is if there is a similar command for 3ds Max (specifically 3ds max design 2k11). Help? -

Down in the lower left corner you can access the listener, you can type $.pos = [0,0,0] into the white box and hit enter to move whatever you have selected to the grid 0,0,0 position. You can also right click either box and open up the listener/recorder. You can also use the type in coordinates boxes down in the lower bar,… -

$.pos = [0,0,0] Use: $.pos.x, $.pos.y, $.pos.z to make it hold the value of the given axis -

But it only works for single objects unless they are attached. -
