Cryengine/sandbox tutorials?
With the SOON to be released cryengine3, I'm very keen to start building scenes using sandbox. I know I could just get in there and start aimlessly playing around to learn how to use it, but it'll probably take forever to figure out what I'm doing, so I was wondering if there are any introductory tutorials out there that… -

AFAIK, the cryengine 3 editor isn't released yet. Once it is, however, I plan on releasing some documentation. Possibly before then, and do something more official, but that's all speculative for now. More specifically, one aimed at artists around here that just want to get stuff in and make it pretty. -

You can still use Sandbox2 from Crysis1 while we don't release the SDK for Crysis2. Editor is still more or less the same! :) -

ah sorry, i'm obviously jumping the gun. that would be great cholden, as there's little documentation, just basic scene building/lighting/rendering would be great. basically I plan to create a fairly heavy foliage based scene soon, and cryengine seems to handle lighting way better than UDK
