Hi! Yes, Build Pair automatically decide what is LP and HP by checking for a TS modifier. You can check the source code - the Build Pair part starts from line 11111. :) But, Build Pair can't handle all situations, so when it can't do the job a message will appear to inform you that you have to rename objects manualy.
