Got round to finishing the texturing, going to start on the character. I have a feeling that doing a decent character at 500 tris will be a lot harder than the craft.
Finished the model, 500 tris on the nose. The things at the end are for flames or whatever, with an alpha. Plus I did a little cockpit. Just started on the texturing. First time doing a low-poly thing and wow is the texturing difficult.
hard to give crits with that lighting, try rendering it shadeless and with over samples off (see link in first post to know how to do this) doesnt look like 500 tris though, could be alot rounder! wires would help
@Josh, this was? :o did not know that! no harm in letting people have another play with the style though.. right?:) @Mr_Drayton, those are all really nice! good use of texture space... seems i still have much to learn when it comes to tiny texturing xD should be nice to see what you can make from 500 tris!
