It's nice news, but sobering to remember how slow and convoluted the FreeSpace open source project has been over the years. -

The word on TTLG is that it's all (or nearly all) there. Certainly enough to build.. o.O -

Knowing the community for these games, I can only hope for something wonderful. Earthbound series still has the craziest fanbase i've ever seen. Currently they are working on an unofficial Mother 4, and it looks legit. Also, they're the reason Mother 3 was even made. -
