At nearly 50 hours in, I have -almost- gotten around to finishing the main quest. Skyrim is not undeserving of all this praise. It's good to see the devs made good on their Oblivion + Morrowind promise. Skyrim makes Oblivion look bad in almost every aspect. The story telling is better, the art is better, the combat is…
I haven't seen anything like that specifically but I haven't dropped anything out in the street... I also remember them saying that if you say...sabotaged a saw mill that like, the economy for that town might get worse. And from what I can tell, I'm wondering how in the hell we're supposed to sabotage anything? They also…
Nope, everything is hardlocked on your PS3, so any type of modding constitutes you in breaking something in terms of software, and that doesn't bode well for you warranty. Simply put, console is a big no-no for modding. X360 is easier to mod, but with Kinect being relatively easy to run on a PC (I think MS is going to…
Wanted to just briefly state my experience with the top visual improvement mods floating around and see if others have the same opinion. Skyrim Enhanced Shaders - I downloaded this mod first and to be honest it's almost entirely pointless as is. The improvements are very subtle unless you include some of the other presets…
That's a Kajiit! It's one of the more elf like ones, but it's a Kajiit. Look at the nose and the mouth. The bridge of the nose is very broad at the top and the mouth is in an upside-down V.
That happened to me, I got killed by a bear. I expect its quite difficult to detect the player is in combat. They dont have modes like in other games. That would sort out alot of problems if they did. Unsheath your weapon(the controls change), your in combat mode, do not disturb player with nonsense.
Overall the engine has sloppy coding put into it, have you used the editor? Not the most pleasant tool to learn, also the amounts of crashes I had, well I say when it comes to crashes Oblivion/Morrowind was fine for me, but Fallout 3 and New Vegas both really buggy, I've played other games using this engine but Bethesda…
Speaking of rewrites, there's also a bunch of Morrowind rewrites like OpenMW, Project Aedra, or Crystal Scrolls; all at different stages of development. At the moment, they look pretty much like the vanilla version of the game, but I'm hoping for some improvements in terms of how the game handles the journal system (awful…
