When you only get 11 months to market your game, you have to be pretty hot and heavy about it. I'd rather have 11 months of heavy hype than 3 years of steady bullshit.
Also for all we know they could have had a team working on this since TES 4 was released, on the engine that is and art alongside it. Man, I should stop speculating, I'm only hyping myself up too much.

I was already hyped for this, I loved Oblivion, but this trailer really left me excited for it! Great trailer and as it appears the soundtrack is pretty much like oblivion, really epic. I better start booking my 100 hours of gameplay for November right away! ;p
Also, Radiant Story sounds a lot like the quest generation in Brink, except more in depth. It seems like they have a lot more technical people on board than in previous games, what with rewriting the rendering engine and now using Havok behavior. I'm stoked about all of it, I'm in full hype mode.
Finally got my copy of GI! Looks so freaking cool. I went to play Oblivion and just noticed the coin has the Skyrim logo on the back! Then I noticed the logo on the lore booklet.
