Yeah, some CAD/NURBS programs have that. In max edit poly, I simply bridge, and a segment in the middle, place that segment where I want it in space, then perform a multiple-segment chamfer on that. It gives a beautiful machined look the the curve.
Aha, thank you pior! While screwing around, I thought about a more manual approach, having already forgotten about the magic of chamfering. Vig: I meant a literal curve in the geometry. Perhaps 'bend' may have been a better choice of words.
