Has there been any zombie animals in this show yet? I remember seeing at least one deer and the odd small critter that they kill for food. But do not recall any zombie wildlife. If human's can get infected why not animals, therefore where are all the animals that died from natural causes that in theory should become… -

did the CDC actually have an isolated virus? I remember them talking about a tissue sample but not a viral culture. the reason I ask is that when Shane was turning there were weird flashes like an angry animal or something. Is a supernatural cause ruled out? -

Yeah, I thought it was odd for Shane to cut his palm, then again, he doesn't strike me as very bright ;) They could put all of the guts from Daryl's killin's, into a jar, then throw it to the ground, whenever they need a temp distraction. I wasn't expecting the horse buffet to actually happen, since somehow I remembered that in the dawn of the dead remake zombies were completely uninterested in animals.
