Looks good. No use saying it now, but like alot of people, you'll see why going from b/w to colour is such a big waste of time :) One thing i'd like to point out, is that add wrinkles where they are needed and dont add them just for the heck of it. Cant really point any out atm. More of advice than crit really.
Yeah I agree the wrinkles are out of control right now, I am going to cut back on them a bit. I have no idea what is bunching it at the crotch I am guessing that's just how the pants are made because all the pants references I could find have long straight folds leading into the crotch area. I'm not sure I follow your…
Is there a specific reason you're modeling to Nintendo64 Goldeneye spec? Right now I think the way you're modeling is destroying any opportunity you have to properly define the planes of the face. You could properly shade it on the texture and it will not hold up if the underlying modeling isn't supporting it correctly.…
Haha Baddcog I think we came to the same conclusion at the same time, I edited my post into a more 'essential shapes' form ala cel shading. It looks kinda bad right now but I just got started. I've stopped checking/replying this thread while I am at work from now on because I get too distracted replying to it, so I'll batch reply when I get home from now on. First @pior: I'm only working on a 512x512 map right now, the face part takes up around 256x256, I wasn't really going for having him look like these:…
Sweet... The drama's back... (The following is an effort to help you keep your threads railed) I agree that you're too sensitive to critique and defensive of your mistakes, as most artists are. This thread and 2 others are full of it. No one is putting words in your mouth or telling you what you think, they're restating a…
