   The high poly is awesome, but the diffuse is really letting it down imo. Looks very noisy.

   To get gold i usually have my diffuse as a slightly dark brownish sort of thing, and a goldy/red/orange brighter colour in the spec. a coloured spec will help sell materials like gold and copper alot more.

   careful with blowing off your model with the lights, also keep an eye out on the contrast of your diffuse. Nice bake by the way! I think you should either kill the base, or make something more intricate. Its really taking all the attention from the greatness that is sitting on top of it.
