How do i get a sharp env. map reflection... I'm making a copper dive helmet, but even if i set the gloss texture to 100% white it still doesn't reflect a sharp env map. this is the look im going for. http://vallejogallery.com/objects/diving%20helmets/Mark%20v%20number%205169%20%20D83/1000%20dpi%20front%20.jpg
Ok so I see now that the .env save the obsolute path of the textures, which does not work when you copy them over to an other machine. I had to manually edit all the path in the .env, which is a pain. Is there any way or plan to use relative path? Make more sense to me cheers ****************************** EDIT : the…
I'm trying to create a light beam effect, but the alphas don't seem to be working right when there's a mesh behind it. What am I doing wrong? I'm using Alpha blend mode with Phong Env channel
I have to say I'm not sure what your exact problem is here. You mention that it resets to "best guess" when you load it, but both of your screenshots are from the Sky Tool. After you process your image in the Sky Tool, you will save out a .env file, and then load that .env file in the Light tab in Toolbag. The sky tutorial…
Attempting to do some searching on how to make my own skyboxes....I make my own HDR environment spheres for maya, I was thinking it would be fun to do a skybox set in the middle of the street here in Seattle. Any suggestions? With the sky box files, for each there are some dds files, an env file, and the skybox…
Hi all, I created a set of skies using the sky tool, with a shadow image. When saved it created 8 files, which I can open fine. Then I copied theses skies over to an other computer. Did not touched anything. But can't laod them. When I load the .env file, the skydome does not change. Am I missig something here? Is there…

Setting the FOV to exactly 60 degrees is a workaround for now, this will be fixed in future builds. @snow: We saw…
So here's a question for those of you who like to tinker with marmoset. It's about dynamic light creation. What i've tried is import an HDRI into hdrshop, create a vertical cross from the original panorama, save it out as a pfm, and do the same for the original HDRI ( minus brightest pixels.) So far so good. In the skytool…
