Use the 'tab' key. In order to move, for example, a cube in position x=3, y=7, z=9 you can press: g / 3 / TAB / 7 / TAB / 9 and finally confirm with enter or a left click. Obviously, please ignore the forward slashes... I put them only to separate the symbols.
Bit of an update for those interested: Blender roadmap 2.7, 2.8 and beyond http://code.blender.org/index.php/2013/06/blender-roadmap-2-7-2-8-and-beyond/
Confirmed - 100% Blender "Of course this is all Blender! and the rendering is again the same realtime glsl" -Kfir And his specs: Windows 7 Quad Core 3.4ghz AMD Nvidia 650ti 16gigs Ram
My test was really basic, I just subdivide Suzanne 7 times and copied her 2 time. Just did that again, 24mio verts, 48mio tris, according to fraps 24fps while rotation with AA on, 32fps without AA.
I think it's great that Blender is improving so much. When I graduated 7 years ago, paying $3000 for Maya was tough pill to swallow. Now these newer kids have a nice alternative if they need a cheap program to complete some paid gigs.
Hey guys, please, sign this petition to add the Merge modifier to Blender. https://www.petitions.net/add_merge_modifier_to_blender 7 Don’t forget to validate it by mail. I know there are several posts on RCS, but even with that, nothing append. So, I’m trying something else. Thx for your support
