My point is that I'm often subject to alot of people who don't understand what I want to do or anything about game development. You can't really expect most people to know how this industry works, hell, a lot of students interested in 3d don't quite understand how it works let alone parents. You should be stoked that your dad saw that article and thought of you, acting like an elitist toward people is no good, especially when they're trying to help…
