Unable to change hotkey for edge loop in Max
This is driving me crazy and I'm hoping someone can tell me how to fix it. I'm trying to set a hotkey to select edge loop, but don't seem to be having any success. In the Customize User Interface menu I set the group to Editable Poly, and the category is All Commands. I go down to "Select Edge Loop", which shows the hotkey… -

Try using "Select Loop (Poly)" under MainUI>All commands. -

Hmm. Try this: Save this file and run it in max. Then go to "selectTools" and set a hotkey to "loop_select". -

Hmm weird, I did have the override toggle on, but turning it off didn't do anything. But then I right clicked and converted my editable poly modifier to another editable poly modifier, and somehow that made the hotkeys start working. Bizarre. Thanks for the help guys. -

I have mine set to CTRL+Q (and W for Ring) and it works without problems...do you, by any chance, have 'Keyboard Shortcut Override Toggle' on? If so, your hotkey might work in editable Poly, but not in the edit Poly Modifier. -

Yea, thats one of the other ones I changed too, but that doesn't seem to work.
