Just started my second run through this time on hard and I'm a little confused, is the only difference between normal and hard the fact that items don't light up and there's no crosshair?
I'm still hoping theres a "hard+" mode that takes all of that out. I don't very much want to know theres an entrance point 60 feet away because its glowing through a wall... Plus lets face it, who wouldn't play this on hard anyway.
Yes, the boss fights are hard, but they're not Ninja Gaiden hard. I do kind of regret boosting my hacker abilities, though. I don't feel like I've powered up nearly as much as I would have liked to by the first boss fight (maybe I need to start over).
I completed it on hard and I want to play it again but I'm not sure how I can make the experience different. Maybe I'll try and kill everyone this time.
I'm playing it on hard and it's great. I really recommend this difficulty level if you want a great deus ex experience. It forces you to really make the most out of being stealthy and using your tools.
@ odium - the highlights are often inevitable in today's games with complex worlds and many interactions;) Beleive me, there r solid reasons behind that kind of decisions which are taken by ppl (mostly being fans of DE1 btw) working very hard on the project ;)
