A small update. I was totally killing the eagle in zbrush so, I'm gonna max model it. Other than that, I fixed up the cloth and leather pieces in Zbrush.
Nice details Phillip, though I would suggest doing the geometry threads like you did on the outside of the helmet for the inside as well. As the zbrush threads your trying to create just arent as nice. Do the geometry threads, and just use zbrush to do the holes they go into and the leather pulls and I think it will come…
::snow:: thanx! The eagle was max modeled all the way but, I did sculpt the cloth on the helmet in Zbrush. The thread was added to the normal. The stitches, max.
Hey y'all! Trying to get some good pieces out for a portfolio to show, mind if I post? Feel free to comment. Here is a Prussian helmet I'm currently working on. Most the pieces are built though some of the work will be handled in Zbrush. What do ya think? -Phil
Looking clean man!! I would say one more nigth and u should be done. yes? Sorry i meant, cloth not leather. i was just wondering how u got the cool little details on the helmet. in your zbrush sculpt.
Great thread. You have really nice pieces here. I love the backpack, wanted to make one like that myself lately. Is the beetle made purely in max? Feels like you used ZBrush too (could be just the render though).
