Hi All, This is WIP Maya script to cut and snap to the higher resolution loop. Use Select Edge loops and it will add the vertices on the missing areas and it will snap it to the higher count loop. It's mostly used if you want to weld terrain to the road or so. p.s : I am doing this for my second version of the Nitropoly.…
Released another script, this time for straightening edge loops (with geometry constraints): https://polycount.com/discussion/212862/3ds-max-loop-straighten-wit-constraints#latest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPQAuX6-2a8
commander_keen, your Moonforge thing reminds me of a recent Reddit conversation. The curvature and world-loop is a nice touch, but remember that a world loop is actually donut shaped. Which is still cool. After all, nobody noticed this in Sonic 3.
I'll give that a shot on the weekend, maybe I can then continue with this With AS3 instead of JSX as a main language it should be a lot easier to deal with loops, logics etc.
Yeah chromatic aberration :P Its vertex distortion in shader, the world is actually flat. In the future I will have the world loop so you can actually walk "around" the moon.
more on ShoeBox development 9 slice or 9-patch detection It searches for clusters and within each looks for repeating slices (looping) and marks them. The idea is to have it export to the Android .9.png format, css3 9-slice and some other framework formats. Right now this fully automated but i'll add some user input…
Cross post from the blender master thread I have been working for a while now on an upcomming tool called Pin & Relax for TexTools which is started to mature recently to something productive. It unfolds and Pins selected edge loops into straight lines and relaxes the rest of the UV island. Similar to Headus UV layout with…
Haven't delved too far into Maya yet, but the smart symmetry looks rad. I had to watch the loop and ring selection a few times to see what was different but it looks pretty handy too
Hi all, I made a small script called Bevel Modifier. It will modifies the bevel which is already created. Also it works on triangels and N-gons in case you are wondering. use: Select any number of edge loop (no intersection of loops) and use the "Bevel +" to increase and "Bevel -" to decrease the bevel value. As you can see…
