Moose: Your absolutely right. I've mainly been working with already painted textures as reference. I think that's one of the many things hurting me. Achillesian - I like the black lines as well. I'm holding off on them at the moment, but I think towards the end I'll put in some really dark saturated color to push the contrast as shown in the concept. I'm on it :) Chrissx2 - Much appreciated!
