I have started a new run and disabled the Rendered Frame Window. Maybe the Ram is used mor efficiently now ;) . If it fails again, I think I'll have to rearrange the Layout and render separate smaller NMs for each part. Splitting the Render in 4 parts might also do the trick...I'll have to look into that....
Piflik, I think the best thing for you is to optimize your ram usage (close everything but Max). If that doesn't work: buy more RAM. It's cheap anyway these days.
