Micro, yeah the lines could very well be baked to UVs if necessary - they sit right on the surface of the reference mesh and they would be grabbed perfectly by a projection cage. However in this case I will leave them as is, just for guidance when making my final highpoly. Scoob, yes obviously this would be possible…
And here's a mini image showing a practical use for the ViewSlicer script. Throw in some Tesselate modifier, and some Bends or FFDs and it makes shape design extremely easy - a few minutes of work really. Then, Remesh in Zbrush, and its ready for more rough sculpting and/or to be used as a template for 2D concepting! P
