haha, also, from watching that fake advertisement of the family playing, how did it know that it was supposed to track the girls hands instead of the fathers hands (which were 2 inches away from her hands and also moving around).
It's not for people that are comfortable with controllers - my mom was able to get a hang of Wii bowling in seconds and kick my butt. If I hand her a 360 controller I might of been handing her a dead fish.
This looks like fun, but I'm going to go ahead and say that playing with it it will look nothing like that advertisement video. If I have to physically perform my melee attacks I am going to 1) break my furniture 2) break my face 3) fail terribly at any game that requires anything more than a punch or a slap. Not to…
So is this thing going to use controllers after all? What if you're playing and someone walks in front of you, lol. Is that going to fuck up your gameplay? I mean...how the fuck would you pause?? Making a T with your hands for Time-out? lol
One of the hands on reviews I read said it was able to do head tracking. That combined with a normal controller in an FPS would be a good combo. Is it at all possible that Peter Molyneux had a son named Milo? Possibly died horribly? Because then we could give that AI a robot body with rocket boots, Yeah.
Because that would go against what Natal is all about. The dude said "your body is the controller" So the if you use controllers with it...it's really not all that special. I mean it's pretty cool to navigate through menus with your hands, and facial recognition is rad...but towards games...I just don't think it's ganna be…
WTF is spore? Mudbox or Zbrush with real life hand sclupting...i think it's time to start drooling I could combine those two ideas into one game. Chiki chiki bawa chiki chiki buawa This is all fine and dandy. More games I'll never get to play because i'm working 10 hours a day.
ok, the thing is, if you turn your head to make the camera look left or right, youre not looking at the screen anymore...thats the problem i see with it. maybe if they figured out some way to implement the movement keys inside the gun so that you move your guy around with one hand and shoot with the trigger finger. still…
Yeah the onstage demo is what really got me excited. It does like really good motion capture, which has amazing potential. I am curious how an FPS might control. Track my head movement and let me turn my head to look around? How do I "walk" or "turn"? Imagine combining this with holding a wireless controller. Like a…
