The demo should get some Claymores, so I can get the people at work to give up their (our) daily games of cod4. There's nothing more satisfying than the click that comes with someone running into one of your charges. Well, maybe the angry shouts from across the room.
Agreed. I miss my kickass soldier. As for nerfing the sappers, that was to encourage team play. You need to coordinate with your team so you bring down a sentry as someone comes around the corner that can hit it with something heavy. It's not all about the damage it does, its also about the time it is sitting there idle.
I think you guys keep forgetting something about these items. In order for a Sniper to wear this thing, he'll probably have to give up his machine gun, or reduce his crit damage on his main weapon. These things come at a pretty big cost. The game is perfectly balanced.
I don't play a lot - just when it comes up on game night at work. I'm pretty good at the game, comparatively speaking, but I haven't unlocked any additional weapons. For anything. I'd pretty much given up on ever doing it because I don't play much and when I do I'm not hunting achievements - I just want to shoot…
I do agree with you on the way the unlockable system worked and ive never been a fan of catering to casual players. Im a stupidly competitive person and I see improving in a game a big enough reward in itself... for me when the gates opened on TF2 i knew it wasnt the game for me, especially not after playing TFC for ~4…
