Animation in general, and it should be program agnostic. The training material (that I seem to remember) was using Maya, but the principles started with basics of animation and worked into character animation. Thanks for all the helps guys -- I'll check them out. ;)
"The Illusion of Life" is considered the bible of animation. "The 12 Principals of Animation" are pretty important to know and master. http://minyos.its.rmit.edu.au/aim/a_notes/anim_principles.html
By any chance are you thinking of? The animators survival kit by Richard Williams? Well over $100 tho... focuses mostly on 2D but its a great help for 3D. http://www.theanimatorssurvivalkit.com/ Or maybe Animation mentors tips and tricks stuff? http://www.animationmentor.com/tipsandtricks/…
Hey all -- If memory serves me right, 6-9 months ago there was a fairly respected 3D (though 2D would be just as beneficial) animation training material (DVD download format?) which ran under a hundred bucks. Am I going crazy or does this actually exist, and if so, where? Thanks ;)
digitalapprentice is offering 7 vids fundamentals for $55 (or a low price of....9.99 per video minus a freebie) Off Topic, can anybody give a brief review of autodesk's humanIK. Is this for tech artists or is it also non-techie friendly.
