Crap, did I miss the deadline? If we're thinking about radical new paradigm: I'd like the ability to build non-linear layer systems. OK the meeting went extremely well, 3hours with a limited pool of artists so we were able to keep things focused. The programmer was very open to suggestions (especially the simple, yet artist important ones like the brush ordering and such) - it was much more successful than I expected. maybe in form of a render or push button that only evaluates the node hierarchy of filters and actions as soon as you tell it to. It would really help if one could update by one key or button a logical set of instances and or dependencies. Thanks for replying so far -

1.) node editor for dynamic driven filters/object creation, similar to the ones in Blender, Combustion,... with instances, references and copies :D 2.) useable performance for high framerate painting (so that brushes feel more responsive). Still around, still busy. We're getting a number of repeat requests now. Layer Blend Mode menu - the menu behavior is inherited from the OS controls. If the OS doesn't do it, we can't easily add the behavior. select>modify>contract/feather - because 40% of users complain when it works one way, 40% complain when it works… -

Perhaps stated already, but after changing a layer's blend mode you have to "deselect" the BM window (usually by manually clicking the select tool and clicking on the canvas), before you can use shortcuts. Trolls me several times a day. -

just a side question: I know that in the windows version of Photoshop one can select a layer mode or font from the texttool and then use the mousewheel or the up and down keys to browse through the entries. On the mac side however it always failed for me (some long time ago) - is that now possible?
