It may be some issue with Vista 64, i know its been used on XP 32/64, and vista 32, but not sure about vista 64. That video card should be great for it, so really unless its a video driver issue i cant tell you why it wouldn't be working.
For some reason, this crashes before it even starts up :E No error message, just the usual 'blah blah.exe has stopped working' etc Using Vista 64, admin account
I'll chime in to say it's worked perfectly for me on Vista 64, dual core, 4gb ram, initially an nvidia 7950 GX2, and now a GTS 250. No issues. Latest nvidia drivers.
Looks like I found my viewer for DW4. Used a straight .obj from max 2008 64 bit. Alphas were in a different file though :( Have to keep that in mind next time.
EQ: Just curious, do you use .obj from modo, or do you import your modo file into max/maya then use the exporter?? also, has the exporter been tested on 64 bit systems? I'm having some trouble in Maya 2008 when attempting to click on the check box in the plug in manager window.
hey! I couldn't find an answer to this but.. Is it normal that even though Marmoset is minimized, It's eating up 50% of my cpu? If so, alrighty! If there is a fix I'd love to know. My Rig. AMD 64x2 5600+ 4 gigs of Ram Windows 7 64 bit 1000 gigs HD x2 Geforce 8800 GTS 512
It works fine here on Vista 64. Could it be an ATI issue? Do the physX drivers even work with an ATI card? BTW EQ, you were right about minimizing the toolbag dropping the proc usage. I thought simply having it covered up by other windows would be enough, but I guess it needs to be actually minimized. Works great now.
Marmoset looks awesome! Quick question (couldn't find an answer with "search this thread" tool), is there anyway I can export from Maya 2009 64-bit? If not, is it still possible to rig a mesh in Maya, then export the OBJ and still render in Marmoset? Also, is OBJ functioning fairly properly at this point in time? Thanks in…
D'oh! Thanks Marine. I'm running into issues now with smoothing looking very messed up using anything other than 'simple' materials (phongsimple or skinsimple). I can post a screenshot if needed. I'm going to try pulling my obj into maya and re-exporting it with the maya exporter. [edit] I have the sinking feeling that the…
Hi guys, first and foremost Marmoset is awesome. Thank you for releasing it freely. It pimps model rendering by default. Just a quick question. When I keep it open full screen and active, I got a CPU load of about 65%, when it is open but not active (focus is on another app) CPU load raises to 100%. If it is windowed both…
