   I have a fellow 3ds Max user who is having problems with her computer rig. I helped her make it so i feel responsible for machine fucking up *sad face*.    there are 4 sticks of ram, all of them 2 gigs. i haven't had a chance to test out any of them out since i'm busy with school work too but once i have a chance i'll test her stuff out.    You could always try replacing it with your known-to-be-working RAM before buying in new stuff only to find out that it's not the RAM.

   Agreed or if there's more than 1 stick, try one at a time until you find the faulty one(s).
