I dont think the operating system matters? But to answer your question, yes I'm using win 7 64 bit and works fine for me. Does it appear in your customize user interface options? Customize > Customize user interface > keyboard tab/group: main ui/category:textools > Textools You'll need to assign a hotkey for it or drag it…
Yeah that new interface is awesome. Might be a bit larger, but I won't have to hover over icons to see what they are. The less time I have the waste, the better.
I haven't tried the new version yet, but is it still possible to just get the script? I just copied the text in the script and put it in a button in my interface. I don't really want this to start at startup every time.
thats where scripting comes in place ;) make a quick snapshot of the source mesh|UV and then combine it with the existing concept of the other script. Will have to think about the execution order (how to select source and then target with a minimum of interface elements if not just 1 button).
Could this script be made to work with 2009's multi-unwrap? If there's an Unwrap UVW modifier applied to multiple models, the script complains about not being able to find the modifier. Any ideas? I'm really liking the script, by the way. Nice interface, as well. Thanks for the all the work you're putting into this
ok last update for a while: uv_toolbox_2.22.mzp changes/ fixes:* copies bitmaps (interface + 2 checkermaps) to $scripts meaning your 3dsmax scripts directory. Hope that works for most people instead of the former used $images folder * fixed some of the option stuff that would produce errors before (some varaible =…
yup- just click right mouse button on that interface button - click again on it (left or right) to stop easing. THough it't not yet exactly relaxing more of a equal spacing script that gives equal distances between the verts on the line. I want to change or add real object world relax at some point with easing.
good news :D I found a way to merge my current code style with macroscripts that can be assigned to the interface or to shortcuts. The neat thing though not well documented is that I can pass through parameters from within macroscript-keys - so that alternative modes from my current functions can be assigned on different…
@Tumerboy: would be the scripts folder be okay? , thats the other option I have. I am implementing that right now- will upload an update as soon as I tested it. @ZackF: no it does not work like that,- it rather determines if the stitch edges should be slided more towards the source or target,- not if the other shell should…
