Scumworks: You should grab this tutorial. Its very helpful with learning where muscles attach to the skeleton. http://gnomonology.com/tutorial/350 I suggest grabbing the ztl from Zack's site as well. You can turn each muscle group off one by one.

If you remember i was working on a tutorial for the whole process :-) I feel like such a whore using photosourcing....my first time *blush* but i guess its ok for the sake of the tutorial (need to encompass everything :-o) sorry for the…
Hey Hal, if you're getting black edges from your normals and you're using smoothing groups on your low poly, then you might need to try splitting your UV shells according to the smoothing groups assigned to them. Check out this tutorial: http://www.svartberg.com/tutorials/article_normalmaps/normalmaps.html Notice when each…

I was actually thinking the same about wrapping the end with something just like you mentioned. I'm not sure what'd be best, though, but…
Yes, Source is a bitch to work with. It's very hard to figure out anything about it without tutorials and the only tutorials available are written by people like me who are just fans trying to figure it out on their own. Valve doesn't officially support any part of the SDK, at least as far as I know, so there's no way to…
