ParoXum, if I remember correctly you need to add new elements inside the lensflare, do no edit the base element (named Source). When I used UED it almost always crashed as soon as I changed anything on the base element. Quick guide: http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/LensFlareEditorUserGuide.html This might be out of date.
Still making sprites and animating elements in the Flash IDE for a Flash game. Kind of rushing at this point but oh well, deadlines and all. http://subreal.net/media/icbm_launch.html
butt_sahib - can't see there is too much wrong with the texture TBH looks great so far RobStites Electro - is the pistol grip a separate poly element?. was just curious about how that high frequency detail meets the smoother part of the handle
yes very much in the eye of the beholder:poly142:, maybe change the color of the organic elements lol. @_Calix_ - it looks really good now much healthier and fleshed out. only problem now is the hands the palms are to fat and are making the hands look shorter they actually are.
How do you guys feel about the color selection as well as color placement to my model. I was looking around victorian architecture and the way color is placed on wooden elements corresponds with how i am doing it but i wonder if theres too much going on and the detail will be lost.
@ JFletcher - that building is just beautiful man, I would love to see a whole environment painted with that kind of finesse. As for your rendering issue, I assume it's Max you're using, if so go to the Render dialog and choose the Render Elements tab, then click Add and throw on just the diffuse - no more pesky specular.
