1. Video editing software for tutorials

   Im going to start making a series of video tutorials and would like to see what everyone here uses for that purpose? im not much of a writer:poly142: really all i need is a video capturing device but not fraps! also something that will help me edit and add sound to my clips :)

   Yep another huge thumbs up for Camtasia. The unreal 3 tutorials i am working on now I am using camtasia. Easy, quick and did i say easy?

   I have made dozens of video tutorials, and Camtasia is far and away the best program I've used (I've tried almost every free one there was). It can take care of simple editing as well (cutting stuff up and inserting other video, images, etc), no need to render it out and edit it in another program. Also the…

   Camtasia is good, but keep in mind a license is $299 (at least last time I checked).

   freez screen video capture for the capturing, cyberlink powerdirector for editing. but i don't know if it's any good... it works :P

    I used to use Snagit and now recommend Camtasia.
