Yeah, the skylight should only be used as a fill light, helping to get rid of strong black shadows and help fill out darker areas. I dont think you will need a complex setup for this one. A strong directional light with slightly yellowish hue with sharp shadows for the sun and just a bit of skylight. You can assign a spherical (material editor) hdri to the skylight if you want that can add some nice variation or gradient map(as SHEPEIRO suggested)…
