the idea is that the Haitian negated his healing factor so Claire shot him down, then put a bullet in his head. He'll only heal if the bullet is removed from his skull, which it doesn't seem anyone is inclined to do.
maybe there are like... passive abilities, like healing. which don't really require you to "activate" them. adam and claire seem to both just... heal, without thinking about it. while other external abilities require you to actually make them happen. maybe the haitian can't nullify passive ones?
They remembered it at the most random places too. This is sort of ahzy now, but IIRC there was that "Ando heal my brain tumor" and Ando was all "no omg you remember that I killed you in the future?". That was just retarded.
Great episode! I think the surprise appearence next week is Papa Petrelli, brought to life by Adam's life-giving blood perhaps? Only reason I could see Adam being needed (some kind of healing is needed, I'll bet).
Just wondering. What the hell is "The Light"? Did Claire lose her powers too? If so wouldn't that change the future and Peter/Sylar getting the healing power from her if she no longer has it. Blah blah blah. All the problems with time travel. My minds gonna blow up.
In regards to a bullet to the head not popping out. The brain is what triggers these abilities as mentioned by Mohinder in an earlier episode this series, so if the brain is damaged or impaired, then so is their ability. If you recall in season 1 when Claire is pushed by her boyfriend and she gets the tree branch lodged…
In a nerd voice: Clair acted as a resistor and reduced the amount of electricity flowing into the plane or absorbed it. Energy goes into the plane bad things happen to the plane, energy goes into Clair, she heals. What the hell where they thinking taking her on a plane in the first place? As for money, HRG or electricity…
