Oh my god, that is so many ways of awesome ! I'm so a Zelda geek :) I _think_ that since he's left handed if he was to grab for the sword it would be sitting other way. Also please make it the master sword.... would be too awesome! :D *drool*
If they made a Zelda film, they could get Gary Sinise to play your version of Link, Manuel! :D It's looking cool, I really like the colours and the shape/definition of the face. I Agree with Tim about the eyes, although I still think it looks good even if nothing was changed.
thanks :) I "finished" him. Wanted to render him in maya, but getting a really good skin shader takes ages.. @everybody: eyes got fixed :) @neox:the cloth now is 100% realistic :D had two fashiondesigner helping me.. @Nostradamus: in the wii version link is righthanded ;) @ebagg: I wanted to, but i don't have the time...…
[UPDATE ON PAGE TWO] Working on this sucker at the moment. If I like the final version, I will try to 3d print it. Started in mudbox, detailed in zbrush old! http://bildupload.sro.at/a/images/link_screen1.jpg There is still so much on my must have list ...
interesting model for sure ! I really like the texturing :) I'd be interested to know what matcap did you use to show your textured model. great work !
ya, I gotta go with Bitmap on this one. He's creepy. I always think of Link as a kid (even in the "older" versions like Twilight Princess) Putting facial hair on him and making him kind of grizzled changes everything. If someone showed me that picture, I would expect it to be another game character that someone dressed up…
Nice work! hot damn... but one question. What the hell are they going to do with the next zelda game? Put it in space? (hmmm) I can picture it now! Planet hyrule and it's 9 moons (each one is a temple *wink*)
