Ugh...very busy with non-3D projects recently. Still looking for employment, primarily. Thankfully enough, I have found the time to work on my Flash 3D model viewer. Here's the current progress. And here's a link to a functional example. Click Here For Example I finally have my own webhosting now, as well. So no worries on…
cheers pior/japhir. will try and finish it soon garriola83 - the problem I feel with your piece is with the muted/almost totally desaturated colours. Every element has the same tonal value. I would make the red more vibrant, the blues darker, but less ultramarine( makes stuff look too dirty) - the breast cups are an…
WhiteEagle ->nice polywork, I like it. Some sugestions, you have a lot of details here, realy need all of these? For example: What's the polycount of the sword?
ok i'll post it here aswell, the sketch threads need to become more popular, there is some amazing stuff going on there for example in Jouste's thread.
A little more progress, this example uses a modified color to define the size of a box and then set the height of the sphere to the height of the box Socket ordering on the dynamic object nodes needs to be fixed

Wow. That is example is awesome. Really shows me just how much further I can actually take this piece. I never even thought about having the teeth being shown but that paint over really shows how much more scary it is when they are exposed. Thanks
jason, you should use references man , for example those eyes seem to be pinched in the corners in a really unnatural way, his whole face structure even if occulted by the mask seems very weird, i found an image of the same eye shape that you have there, really use reference :)
before crying out about your mistreatment maybe you should take a step back and try to realize just how silly you arguing that this would be acceptable in any sort of capacity is, i mean you're telling epic employees(tinman) what practices his own company uses as example, when this is clearly not the case. Pretty hilarious.
Nice ruz. The face turned out great. I would recommend a better lighting setup, and something other than that evil white background. A nice medium gray gradient background works really well. Mix that with a cool 3point light setup and you'd be rocking. here's an awesome example by Bryan Cavett…
