seforin, baking the moustache = alpha plane ftw. been learning the basics of polypaint, and brushing up on my anatomy a little: bills base mesh, except teh head.
Yeah, matcap skin shader in zbrush with some quick polypainting for general areas of colour. Update, looks a lot more like him now, although the eyes and general shape of the face still need some work.
A hand for first person view, work in progress, will finish up the highpoly tonight, the textures are polypaint and photosource. A bit red material from zbrush though. Mostly just testing it out. Will go back and focus on the sculpt now instead.
Havent done any polypainting in zbrush till i figured to give it a go tonite, and damn its pretty sweet once you get around the settings, heres a quick doodle, about an hour on some half-finished head sculpt of mine..
Great stuff Spinks. Love that face! I take it the diffuse colors are baked down from polypainting or did you do that on the flats? Maybe throw a shirt on him to cover up that lumpy upper body and you'll have a real winner of a bust!!
