I was 19 years old when Duke Nukem 3D came out, and I'll be at least 32 years old when Duke Nukem Forever comes out. Frankly, I remember as much about Duke as I do about the rest of 1996 - not a hell of a lot. -

oddly enough, while playing the last duke nukem game my jaw locked shut. i panicked and tore it open rather painfully and for the next ten years whenever i opened my mouth wide it would come out of socket. duke nukem FTW! -

Good to have some inside info on this. I was afraid gearbox had gotten their hands on the game and in an effort to release it quickly ditched all the unique hard work done by the core teams. Now that i know the core of the new duke is mostly unharmed I'm pretty damned stoked for the game nearing release. I'm sure things… -
