I hate it when companies give out beta keys like this. I'd really like to play this game, but I don't have the time to sit around my computer waiting for it to tell me a time to come back and wait for. I have a Fileplanet account (but not a subscriber), though I enter in all my shit and then get to a screen asking me to subscribe before I can sign up for a key and can't go any further than that. ATI patch came out a couple of hours ago, it seems to have fixed my problem Really solid game, megatexture stuff is rad. I can't help but think the landscape textures r ugly with this noisey heightmap thrown over the top of absolutely everything despite what the texture may actually be. Your laptop's specs sound fine for running the beta. I was playing on a 2GB RAM, GeForce 7900GS 256MB, Athlon 64 Dual Core 3800+, and it runs smoothly on "Medium" graphics settings.
