Hey guys, lovely photo's! I am about to buy a semi-pro camera for photographing textures and also references, any recommendations (as i have absolutely no idea what to look for etc)? Max ~250$ .
another of my weird fkn photos might try and pull on the raw file a bit more for those who like to know shutter 1/2500 sec f 5,6 iso 250 (forgot to pull this down..) focal 70mm
Poop is correct. The shutter on my Rolleiflex broke that night; speeds 1/125 and 1/250 still function but anything slower and the shutter will remain open. That light streak effect was created accidentally when I tilted the camera on the tripod after the shutter was supposed to close.
mhahaha one without leaves! specs, shutter 1/80 f 5,3 iso 250 240mm shot at 1 meter distance? this one might be better viewed at 1024 instead of 1200 pixels, but it goes well with the other one, since that is also 1200 guess ill scale the website version down a bit
DaBeast: For $250-300 you can get either a Canon EOS 20D, or a Digital Rebel XT(350D). The 20d will cost a bit more, but if you're patient you can get a good deal for one on ebay. Usually you can even find them with the 18-55mm kit lens, but if not, you can pick up a variety of cheap lenses to go with it from ebay as well.…
Earthquake, have you looked at the 60D at all? It's approximately $250 dollars more than the 550D, but has almost the same features the same features as the 7D, which is almost $1000 dollars more than the 550D - i'm converting SA prices to dollars, so maybe price difference where you are. (^ I'm talking new prices, and by…
You might consider the Nikon DX 35mm 1.8 if you're looking for a "normal" lens on a crop body like i was, its 52.5mm equiv on a nikon crop body, as fast as your 50 and only $200-250. Looks like they dont make a 28mm 1.8 like Canon does, which is a shame, only the $2500 28mm 1.4, which is just nuts.…
Thanks alot man! appreciate it! :D this one is probably one of my most succesful photos atm! Ive spend an hour between mice, from 30 cm away up to 2 meters, this took long, so even if they are used to some people walking by, sitting/standing still is really key to succes here. (meaning, besides your head, you do not moving…
